If you are on a limited time budget to explore China, this theme park named Splendid China and China Folk Culture Villages located in Overseas Chinese Town in Shenzhen offers every things that you are looking for. The park is consisted of two parts, namely Splendid China and China Folk Culture Villages. The former features miniatures of the Chinese tourist attractions that you are most familiar with, from the Terra-Cotta Warriors in Xi’an to The Great Wall in Beijing, from the West Lake in Zhejiang to Potala Palace in Tibet, whereas the China Folk Culture Villages walks you through the living traditions of the main minorities of China.

Splendid China Folk Village (Chinese锦绣中华民俗pinyin: Jǐnxiù Zhōnghuá Mínsú Cūn) is a theme park including two areas (Splendid China Miniature Park & China Folk Culture Village) located in ShenzhenPeople’s Republic of China. The park’s theme reflects the history, culture, art, ancient architecture, customs and habits of various nationalities. It is one of the world’s largest scenery parks in the amount of scenarios reproduced. The park is developed and managed by the major travel and tourist corporation, China Travel Services.

There are several shows and live entertainments in the park that specially worth watching. We watched this show called The Golden Spear Dynasty, featuring a live battle between Qing and Ming.
